Giveaway & Fair Trade Chocolate and Cranberry Muffins

We’re getting down to the wire now, folks. Less than 7 days before Christmas. Are you still in need of holiday recipes, some last minute (Fair Trade) gift ideas, or maybe a convenient way to store all those holiday flavored k-cup packs for your guests?

I decided to pop in with a great recipe for Christmas morning that uses lots of delicious Fair Trade Certified ingredients, plus a handy little coupon and giveaway from one of the best known Fair Trade purchasers, Green Mountain Coffee.

It’s no secret that I love a cranberry muffin. It is pretty much my favorite kind of muffin to make, and I currently have over 9 pounds of cranberries hanging out in my freezer so I can make them all year round. These cranberry muffins, however, are extra special because they’re made with Fair Trade Moscobado Sugar, Fair Trade Chocolate, and a whole lotta fresh nutmeg.

I think you’ll really like how the deep notes in the sugar pair with bittersweet chocolate and bright cranberries, and I bet you’ll like it even more if you can sip a cup of Green Mountain Fair Trade Spicy Eggnog Coffee while you do it.

As part of my ambassadorship with Green Mountain Coffee, we are provided with coupons made especially for our readers. I’m excited to share with you a coupon that takes 15% off the entire GreenMountainCoffee.com website. From now until December 31st, use it to stock up on your favorite holiday flavors, get last minute gifts, or indulge in a blend you’ve been meaning to try.

If I can suggest one, do try out GMC’s new Special Reserve Colombia Geisha. It’s some of the finest coffee I’ve ever tasted.

We also occasionally get fun stuff to give away, like the new Sidekick k-cup pack organizer. This baby is slick – it almost looks like a game console, and slides in right next to your Keurig.

I love cranberry muffins. They’re my all-time favorite. I don’t make them often because the hubs doesn’t like cranberries. In fact he has deemed cranberries “not a real food.” True story. I may just have to make these and tell him to suck it up. ;) Thanks for the recipe and the giveaway!

Great muffins to have on hand for company. I could use a k-cup organizer. Right now I have them in a small basket. Great discount offer to buy coffee. I’m very well stocked right now, but I know you’ll have this offer again. Wink Wink. :)

I mostly only eat cranberries around the holidays and my preferred dried fruit is currents, but this recipe looks great. I don’t know how I would survive without my keurig but my kcups are perpetually disorganized.
