The other day I regaled you with my Fair Trade Breakfast Bread. It was the start of “Fair Trade Week” here on Bluebonnets & Brownies.

Let’s talk more about Fair Trade Certified products, shall we? For a start, this is the logo you should look for:

Fair Trade Certified products, of course, guarantee the farmers and families that work to grow and harvest the crops we rely on a fair price for the work they do. But it’s not just about obtaining a fair price.

Buying Fair Trade Certified Products Guarantees:

  • Fair Prices
  • No GMOs
  • No Hazardous Chemicals

I love Fair Trade coffee, particularly anything from Green Mountain, but also becoming very interested in Fair Trade Chocolate now that I am learning how cocoa beans are harvested (child labor used :( ) I want to support a product that is ethically and fairly traded for.
