Who loves French Toast – raise your hand!
I don’t make it often, but French Toast is one of those breakfasts I vividly remember my dad making when I was a kid.
My dad excels at breakfast-making more than any other meal, and I think it’s probably his favorite meal of the day too.
When Green Mountain Coffee asked me to create this quarter’s recipe flavor with Fair Trade Golden French Toast coffee, I certainly got excited.
Fair Trade Golden French Toast coffee is one of my favorite seasonal flavors from Green Mountain. It’s buttery and delicious, with just the right amount of maple and nutmeg flavors coming through.
What did this quarter’s coffee inspire? Fair Trade Golden French Toast Blondies. I think you’re going to love them!
You’ll find today’s recipe on Green Mountain Cafe, Green Mountain Coffee’s blog.

I commented on the Green Mtn site. I’d make a Java French Toast milkshake with French Toast coffee, espresso powder and vanilla bean ice cream, then top it with whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg or cinnamon.

The maple and buttery taste sound intriguing. I would try to make a syrup like you would for pancake syrup and use it on vanilla ice cream.

I commented on their site. I would add the coffee to a bread pudding recipe, bake it and then drizzle with maple syrup and serve with cinnamon whipped cream.
